The goal of the Masters Project Course is to help you to apply the knowledge and competencies you have developed in the Masters of International Business Program.

The program includes two elective courses that students will need to take. It is the students decision to determine which semester they want to take the electives. Elective offerings will be provided to the students on a semester basis from other Graduate Business programs.

  • Professional Development Seminar

The MIB program offers several PDS opportunities for our students to gain experience and knowledge outside of the typical classroom setting. There two PDS’s that students are required to take for successful completion of the program. Students will complete an MIB Prep Workshop and Career Services PDS prior to the end of the first semester. You will also have the option of completing a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification course. We will be updating this page with any future PDS opportunities for students.

    MIB Prep Workshop

Upon enrollment in the MIB Program, our students participate in a mandatory preparatory workshop. If you do not have an academic background in business, the material in this workshop will teach you the basics in business functions and economics to better equip you with the knowledge to succeed in the program. For students who have a background in business, it will serve as a refresher. This workshop will also help you become familiar with the online learning tool, Canvas, which you will have to use for most of your courses. Some of the material for this workshop is free and some is available for purchase at a nominal cost.

    Career Services PDS – BCM6000

Students will have access to their own career counselor, dedicated to helping them develop and strategize their career-growth journey. Lean Six Sigma – Yellow Belt Certification

Students will be offered a one-time option to be enrolled in the Lean Six Sigma – Yellow Belt certification, free of charge. Students will be registered as a group by the MIB team. This is a potential cost savings of thousands of dollars if the same instruction was given in the private sector.
